Wickes and Timber Conservatories

This Edwardian timber conservatory was suffering from years of neglect. Because the timber glazing bars were almost impossible to access to maintain. Timber is a poor choice for the external roof bars in these situations which are constantly being battered by the British weather. The polycarbonate had deteriorated to the point where it had become very yellowed and brittle due to the panels being installed upside down with the UV coating on the inside.

We installed new, thicker multiwall polycarbonate, ( the right way up) and fitted powder coated aluminium glazing bars and ridge. The roof is now, apart from routine cleaning, maintenance free and good for 20+ years.

We only use top quality materials from leading manufacturers which have been tried and tested over the years and carry a full warranty.
