This timber framed conservatory roof is typical of many that we renovate. The external glazing are timber and have all rotted to the point where they leak copiously. It is almost impossible to maintain timber cappings as access is invariably difficult, even if you do have the equipment to work safely they are a constant maintenance headache. Roofs are no place for timber.

We removed the old roof and fitted powder coated aluminium bars and new high performance polycarbonate. The existing rafters were retained. The result is a roof which, apart from routine cleaning, is pretty much maintenance free. We completed this work in a single day.
