Leaking vents 

It’s quite common for conservatory roof vents (also known as opening lights) to develop leaks over time. While we always aim to repair them where possible, the truth is that many become beyond fixing as the frames deteriorate with age.

In these cases, we typically recommend replacing the entire panel and removing the vent altogether. While roof vents are designed to help with heat reduction, in reality, they often fall short, and when your priority is stopping leaks and preventing further damage, removing the faulty vent can be a smart, economical solution that improves reliability without compromising comfort.
