In many timber conservatories, the first components to fail are usually the timber glazing bars (as shown below). This can make the entire structure appear to be at the end of its life, but that’s rarely the case.
Glazing bars, polycarbonate panels, and ridge details can all be replaced with modern, high-performance materials that not only improve weather resistance, but also extend the life of the original timber frame underneath.
Unlike uPVC conservatories, timber roofs require a completely different approach when it comes to servicing and repair. That’s where our specialised experience really makes a difference, to help you achieve a cost-effective, long-lasting transformation that aligns with your expectations and budget.
When timber work is required to the base or frame of the conservatory, we can usually help, but if we feel it's more time and cost-effective to you to use a local joiner, we will suggest it. Sometimes, the skills required are not conservatory specific and so, when we feel that's the case, we always prefer to be upfront about that to deliver you the best results.
